hm... it seems i miscalculated the dimensions of her face
it came out longish and thinner looking...
and the colors didn't come out quite the way i wanted, either
this one was hard :(

somewhat elongated though I think you overstate. it's still an absolutely lovely digital painting. I'm really smitten by all the movement in it..

not bad compared to the original photo. This one brings more life to it. The brown color on her face, brings more sweetness to her and the background as well. Good choise of colors. The right eye is a bit fanky though.

thanks !!!!! i'm glad i chose to start w/a brown base, then... and yea, could you tell i was having the most difficulty with the left eye and lighting? xP

I yeah I guess you're right with left eye although you dindn't get the same effect on the right side, because it would become greater pic, believe me. Dindn't have a clue about the lighting since it was so blury that I would have not noticed.

Anyway, great paiting, I hope you get better and have more pancience with your future images.
